GOING BLONDE

Consider it the director’s cut of a film I started making 8 years ago.

As I approached the threshold of a new “me,” I asked a dear friend to write a song.

Then I bleached my hair.

The “going” honors the process. The movement. The journey.

A finished product was hardly the point—I was crafting a container for a metamorphosis.

For many years, Dina’s “Blonde” was my own private soundtrack. Now it’s yours, too.
